Anything that grows from nature is an herb. Herbs are the highest quality food known to man provided by nature. Herbs are essentially all the parts of the plant with its roots, leaves, seeds, flowers, and fruit. They are complete with all essential vitamins, minerals, and trace elements a body needs.
Herbs were created with healing properties by nature to maintain and restore our health. Herbs are known to work on the cause of the health issue rather than on the symptom. We believe the intelligence of the body can be found in herbs and they are meant to nourish organs so that they can function properly.
No, our herbal products do not have negative side effects. At some point you may experience the herb’s cleansing action which can stir up the waste inside your body causing you to not feel well. This is part of the detoxifying process which helps the body eliminate waste bringing it into a state of wellness.
Yes, herbs are food. It’s the same as eating several types of vegetables, leafy greens and fruits. The intelligence of your body is in the herb, therefore when you take several herbs at the same time, your body will deliver specific nutrients to the organ in need.
To our knowledge, if the manufacturer’s herbs consist of 100% plants, they are safe to take. However, keep in mind, as with anything that you put in your body you should get in the habit of reading the ingredients list on the label. Check to make sure the herbs you consume are in fact 100% plants, as many companies like to cut corners and increase profit margin by compromising their quality. We, at Common Sense™ Products, take pride in the quality of our ingredients and do not use non-plant material in our herbal combinations.
Our herbs can be taken safely for long periods of time. The length of time will vary depending on how you feel and the progress you have made. A good rule of thumb is for every year of unhealthy eating, drinking, lifestyle and habits, it can take a month or more to restore your health, and if unhealthy habits persist, it may take even longer. The herbs were designed to cleanse and nourish, so if you chose to, you could take them for life! Keep in mind that we eat daily, so we should cleanse daily as well.
Also, please keep in mind that taking herbs over the long term isn’t like taking long term medication. The only promise of long term medication is that you will be sick the rest of your life, and you might get momentary relief from a handful of symptoms. The promise of taking herbs long term is that you can be well the rest of your life, and you don’t have to wait for symptoms and illness to develop. Taking herbs is just like any other healthy habit, it’s about prevention and optimization, not covering up problems.
When using CSP Herbal Products, you should begin with the amount suggested on the product label and observe how your body responds to that amount. If you do not receive the desired result, you may safely increase or decrease the amount accordingly.
Herbs are so natural that they don’t have any specific dosage other than what works for your unique body. If you ever take “too much”, it’s just treated like extra healthy fiber for your body, and it will be eliminated in your waste with ease.
Since herbs are food, you can take them at your convenience. We suggest taking them on an empty stomach which can be 30 minutes before a meal, or 1 hour after a meal. Doing so will allow the body to get the most out of the herb. Those on a busy schedule prefer to take them first thing in the morning and/or in the evening, 1 to 2 hours before sleep. Herbs that help with sleep are preferably taken a half hour before bedtime. Herbs that aid digestion should be taken with your meal.
The length of time that it takes to experience noticeable results is different for everyone and involves many factors; the severity of the problem, an individual’s digestive system, the way a person’s body processes the herbs taken, etc. If you would like to experience faster results, consistency is key!
Yes, children can take our herbal products. Remember, herbs are food, and are no different than eating fruit or vegetables. They also strengthen and cleanse, and help to nourish the body as it grows. Children 10 years of age and under may take half the suggested amount for adults.
Yes, it is perfectly fine to crush and/or blend the herbs into a smoothie, juice, or other foods. This will not decrease the potency of the herbs but make it easier to swallow for those that have a hard time taking tablets or want added nutrients in their food and drinks.
Keep in mind, the herbs and cayenne pepper (capsicum) in our herbal combinations may alter the taste and may add a bit of heat and/or bitterness to your drink or food.
Yes. CSP herbal products source all ingredients from Organic, Non-GMO, and Gluten Free suppliers. We provide nothing but the best quality to our customers.
Herbs in their natural state are harvested throughout the world. Common Sense™ Products are manufactured in the United States of America.
Proper elimination consists of 3 or more bowel movements per day, every day. Anything less than 3 bowel movements a day is considered constipation. Common SenseTM Products Herbal Lax and SuperLax are herbal colon cleansers that promote proper elimination. These aren’t man-made laxatives that force unnatural bowel movements, they are effective cleansers that are gentle on your body.
Herbal Lax is a gentle version of SuperLax. If you are already able to eliminate more than once a day, Herbal Lax may be the right choice for you. However, if you are not eliminating at least 3 times or more per day, we suggest SuperLax to help you reach your goal.
Not at all! Herbs are non-habit forming. Remember, herbs are food, they were created to cleanse and nourish our body back to health and wellness.
Being “addicted” to herbs would be like being “addicted” to water or healthy eating, it’s not possible.
Yes, however we do not recommend it. Keep in mind that all disease begins in the colon. SuperLax helps promote proper toxic waste elimination. Proper elimination of waste is the first and most important step on your journey to good health. It is imperative that you eliminate 3 or more times a day, every day.
What should I do if I am taking the suggested amount listed on the SuperLax label, but I am not having at least 3 bowel movements per day?
Keep in mind that our bodies are different. The suggested amount on the label is just that, a suggestion. What works for one person may not necessarily work for the next and vice versa. Don’t worry! You may safely increase the number of tablets by one tablet at a time until you reach the goal of eliminating 3 or more times daily.
Absolutely! It is very harmful to keep any type of waste in the body, but to keep de-composing waste is not only dangerous, it is deadly. Imagine never taking the trash out from your home, in a short period of time your home would be infested with dangerous bacteria and unwanted pests. The same happens to your intestines when the waste is not being flushed out.
Look for the 5 signs of proper elimination:
- Your waste is shaped with the colon imprint.
- Your waste floats, rather than sinks, to the top of the water.
- Your waste is odorless.
- Your waste is approximately 2 inches in diameter.
- You eliminate at least 1 hour after each meal.
Yes, medication/drugs can be taken with herbs. Herbs are food and are no different than eating a fruit or vegetable. If you want, you may choose to take them at different times. Consult with your health care professional before including herbs in your medication/drug routine.
Herbs are food and are no different than eating fruits or vegetables, which allow CSP herbs to be taken in large quantities without harmful effects. Therefore, you can take any or all CSP herbs simultaneously and experience great health benefits. You would not be able to do the same with medication/drugs. For best results, we suggest taking our CSP herbs on an empty stomach.
Quitting your medication/drugs is completely your choice and your right. The staff at Common Sense™ Products are not authorized to advise you on the matter. With that in mind, we have had customers that made it their personal choice to get off their medication cautiously and successfully. If you have chosen to quit taking your medication, do not quit “cold turkey.” Many people have gradually decreased their medication/drug dosage and frequency with the use of herbs. Be sure to seek the advice of your health care professional before making any modifications to your medication/drug routine.
