The Comfrey Story
The value of Comfrey has been proven over hundreds of years. The Crusaders used it to treat their wounds. Comfrey is known as “knitbone” and “boneset” and highly praised as a miraculous cure for helping bones to knit and for smoothing bruises. Europeans used Comfrey to treat sprains, bruises and swelling. Comfrey contains allantoin which encourages healthy cell growth, mucilage (which soothes), protein and Vitamin B12.
